a Couch-to-5K® training program

With the arrival of spring comes the arrival of warm weather, along with a new opportunity and desire to get outside. It’s time to get up off the couch and get active now! Get Healthy CT wants to challenge you to get ready to walk or run a 5K event. To help you do this, we have organized a Couch to 5K training program for you to follow, complete with our Top Ten Reasons to participate in a 5K, a training program from Cool Running (paper version and an app), and a list of local 5K events you can participate in. Set a goal for yourself to walk or run a 5K, pick the one you want to do and start training today! More >>
